We are quite different than the Chambers of 1950, 1984, and even 2000. Our Board of Directors is a direct representation of our membership—small business owners, manufacturers, healthcare professionals, educators, and nonprofit managers. They are policy makers, innovators of programming, and leaders of committees. The Ambassadors are a core group of volunteers who not only devote time to attending and assisting at events, they also take on the responsibility of guiding new members through the benefits Chamber membership has to offer. Staff members at the Chamber offices work closely with the Board and Ambassadors to make certain our goals are met efficiently and with a great deal of professionalism. Today, the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce is the premiere voice of business in North Orange County. Our footprint not only covers Fullerton, but also extends to surrounding communities as an influential force. Our membership represents businesses from three states in addition to California—Florida, Texas, and Colorado; 23 Southern California cities; and all Fullerton zip codes. We strive to develop original programming that advances your business and enhances the value of your membership. Our advocacy efforts support businesses’ goals for growth and economic success. Networking events and community promotion continue to be at the forefront of what our members see as our most important mission. It’s my hope that 2012 is a successful and profitable year for us all. This Business Directory and Community Guide can be a tool for each of us to meet those goals. I encourage you to look here first when you need a realtor, an insurance agent, or even a flooring professional. Let this be your go-to guide for shopping and dining, referrals and resources, power partners and professional help. Should you wish to be introduced to anyone in this directory, I’d be happy to help facilitate that introduction. Just contact me and we can make it happen. Thank you again for your membership—it is our backbone and the essence of our existence. I look forward to engaging with you in the coming year. There is so much to love about 8% Fullerton, you just have to come out and find it.
