A.T.M. Metropolitana (subway/underground)
A.T.M. (Azienda Trasporti Milanesi) Metropolitana tickets (€ 1) are sold at newspaper kiosks, tobacconists (look for signs
marked “T”) and at automatic machines at the Metropolitana stations. They must be validated as you enter the metro gates
and are good for 75 minutes.
From whatever station in which you arrive (Stazione Cadorna, Stazione Centrale, etc.), take the Metropolitana green line
(also known as Linea 2) in the direction “Gobba/Cologno/Gessate” and get off at “Cascina Gobba” (also called simply
“Gobba.”).
From Cascina Gobba
From the Gobba Metropolitana station you can take either a bus or a shuttle (navetta) to reach the Dibit building.
Bus: The bus is number 925 and the only direction is “Milano due.” Get off at the third stop which is exactly in front of the
Dibit building. The A.T.M. bus tickets are sold (€ 1) at the bar in the station during opening hours and at the automatic
machines. They must be validated (stamped) using the machine on the bus. If you have already ridden the Metropolitana,
you may ride the bus using the same ticket provided it is within the 75-minute allotted period. You do not need to revalidate
your ticket.
Shuttle: The shuttle is a light-rail train and is accessible from inside the metro station by following the signs for “San
Raffaele”. Shuttle tickets (€ 0.85) are sold at the bar in the station and at the automatic machines right in front of the shuttle
gates. These are different from those used on the Metropolitana and buses and must be bought separately.
Once you reach the San Raffaele follow the signs indicating “Università Vita Salute”.
