What makes our work possible?
While it’s natural to leave bequests to loved ones, there’s another group deserving of your
generosity: blind and visually impaired children and adults.
By including Braille Institute of America in your will or trust, you’ll help brighten the
lives of the more than 64,000 children and adults served by Braille Institute each year.
As a private, nonprofit organization, Braille Institute is operated and funded almost entirely
through private donations. Importantly, the Institute’s financial well-being relies in large
measure upon financial reserves and the annual revenues they provide. Significant portions
of Braille Institute’s financial reserves have been created by thoughtful and generous
bequests from people just like you.
Leaving a bequest is easy—simply include the following language in your estate plan:
I give (X dollars or X percent or all of the residue of my estate) to Braille Institute of
America, Inc., a California Nonprofit Corporation with principal offices located at
741 North Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90029-3594.
