The RC department’s activities center on the characterization of stem cell<br />
populations associated with cardiovascular system homeostasis, the<br />
interdependence of the cardiovascular and immune-inflammatory systems,<br />
and the roles of oxidative stress, cell cycle alterations and stem cell<br />
dysfunction in tissue aging.<br />
