Research Interests<br />

I am currently interested in global scale geodynamics, mathematical modeling and numerical methods<br />

apllied to plate tectonics. I am also familiar with plate kinematics, reference frames, and theoretical<br />

models to understand dynamics of the lithosphere and lithosphere–mantle interaction. I often<br />

usedresultsobtainedby structuralgeology,marinegeologyand spacegeodesytotest platekinematic<br />

models, to investigate basic kinematics of subductions and active tectonics of the Me<strong>di</strong>terranean,<br />

and to model mantle upwelling beneath the midocean ridges.<br />
