House Damaged

The Alpha Tau Omega house was severely damaged
by fire the night of March 7, 1971 . Although no one
was injured in the fire, the entire third story of the
house was gone by the time the flames were brought
under control by the Moscow Fire Department.
The fire was assumed to have started in the third
floor sleeping porch. Few members were in the house
at the time of t he fire, but all members lost books and
other personal possessions. Immediate reconstruction
was sta rted on the structure.
