limits. It scales from 30 to over 500 slots, with a capacity of more than 100 terabytes of uncompressed
data. It accommodates up to 18 tape drives, and delivers superior performance of up to
2 TB/hour. With the Sun StorEdge L500 tape library, you can easily scale your system as storage
requirements change—cost-effectively adding modules without reducing reliability or increasing
administrative complexity. The Sun StorEdge L500 tape library integrates seamlessly across
Windows or UNIX® environments for simple configuration and management. The expandable
drive capacity and LTO Ultrium drive technology make it an ideal tape library for mission-critical
server applications such as e-mail servers, database applications, and enterprise file servers. It is
