Park, Urbana: We had perfect weather for the
25th annual women’s fitness 5K run and walk.
We had over 275 entrants—a sizeable jump over
last year—and through the efforts of our participants
and sponsors, we raised $4,025, which was
split between the Center for Women in Transition
and The Crisis Nursery.
Special thanks to all of our sponsors, without
whose support we would not be able to have this
wonderful event: Body n’ Sole, Central Illinois
Produce, Cozad Asset Management, Great Harvest
Bread Company, Human Kinetics, Marathon
& Beyond, Mettler Athletic, Mettler Center,
