Tradesman’s trousers with a plethora of pockets. 2 loose outsides 

pockets reinforced on the inside with Cordura®. The left 

pocket also has another external patch pocket and the right 

pocket has 3 smaller pockets and tool loops. Both pockets can 

be tucked inside the trousers when they are not in use. There 

are another two front patch pockets and 2 back pockets with 

gussets. There is also a ruler pocket, a tool pocket and a pencil 

pocket sewn into the right side seam so that it will not get in the 

way when you bend your knee. Spacious thigh pocket on the 

left thigh, with mobile phone pocket. Hammer loop and smart 

D-ring for an ID-card. The knees are ergonomically designed 

with 100% Cordura® pockets for knee pads. Knee pads are inserted 

from the inside and are height-adjustable.The inside of 

the trousers is brushed for extra comfort against the skin. Prostretch 

trousers are made from the new stretch fabric to make 

you work more comfortable.

Gen Y - Worker Trousers with smart green contrast seams and 

a wide range of features. Too loose outside pockets at the front 

- one with an extra pocket and the other with 3 smaller pockets 

and a tool loop. 2 front pockets, 2 back pockets and a thigh 

pocket with zip. The trousers offer a multi functional pocket with 

pockets for a folding ruler, mobile phone, ID card, pencils and 

a holder for a knife. 2 hammer loops and D-ring. The pocket 

is made with Cordura reinforcement, which ensures extra durability. 

Likewise, the front of the trousers is made of Cordura 

from the knee down, which makes this part of the trousers extra 

hard-wearing. The knee pockets with inside opening make it 

possible to adjust the height of the knee pads. The knees are 

specially angled to ensure a great freedom of movement.

Kansas® Airtech Jacket is made in a laminated polyester 

fabric that keeps out the wind and rain but allows the body 

to ‘breathe’ by letting the moisture out. The jacket zips up 

to the top of the collar. There are four zipped pockets on the 

front of the jacket and a zipped map pocket under the storm 

flap with a further internal mobile phone pocket with and an 

opening for an earpiece. The jacket is ventilated under the 

sleeves to further increase breathability. The elasticated cuffs 

are adjustable, as is the drawstring on the hem. The back of 

the jacket is lengthened. The exposed areas are reinforced 

with nylon and the zip in the lining makes embroidery 

possible.

If acid or alkalis get into unprotected eyes, 

fast access to an eye wash is ofthe utmost 

importance. The eyes are burned the 

moment hazardous materials come into 

contact with them. In case of injury due

With effect from 1st July, 1995, gloves 

may be sold that only correspond to the 

Equipment Safety Law and carry the CE 

Mark. In order to deal with the different 

requirements in respect of personal 

protective equipment three categories have 

been created:

Low-requirement PPE, the gloves must 

correspond to basic requirements of

the CE mark. Type-testing is not needed, a

The Glove Programme 

General Information 

The basis of EN Standards for protective gloves. 

The Directive on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (89/686 EEC) has been 

adopted as national law by means of the 8. Ordinance pertaining to the 

Equipment Safety Law on 1st July, 1992. 


In this category additional type-testing is 

required. The gloves must be accompanied 

by instructions for use and/or an information 

leaflet. The standard covers, i.e., gloves 

according to EN 388, protection against 

mechanical hazards. 


In this case in addition to type-testing 

and the information leaflet and/or the 

instructions to use plus CE Marking also 

quality management according to ISO is 

required.
