Founder and director of the Society for Clinical Mindfulness & Meditation, a professional<br />

Participated in the creation and establishment of the Institute for Business Integrity, housed<br />

within the College of Business. Assisted in coordinating the opening event, featuring<br />

Congressman Michael Oxley. Performed ongoing research, writing, and marketing duties.<br />

Starting Point Montgomery County Early Intervention Consortium (Winter 2001)<br />

Participated in an interdisciplinary team project as part of a multidisciplinary course for Starting<br />

Point, an Early Intervention agency. Assumed primary responsibility for writing a successful<br />

grant proposal and assembling an orientation packet for respite care volunteers for children 0-3<br />

with or at risk for developmental disabilities. Packet is available to agencies statewide.<br />

Personal Protection Agent (April and July 1996)<br />

Served as personal protection agent for the Dalai Lama of Tibet, as well as Steven Seagal,<br />

Richard Gere, and composer Philip Glass.<br />
