and no degree will be conferred until after one year of residence
and study at this school.
Fees and Expenses.
The charges for instruction are as follows:
Tuition fee, per annum for residents of Maryland $150.00
Tuition fee, per annum, for non-residents of Maryland $200.00
(These fees are applicable to new students registering for the
term beginning September 15, 1924. The tuition fee for students who
were registered for the session 1923-1924 and are going on with the
Intermediate and Senior Courses remains as heretofore.)
The tuition fee is payable in two equal instalments, one-half at
the time of registration for the First Term, and one-half at the time
of registration for the Second Term.
There will be a matriculation fee of ten dollars charged and payable
for each student at the time of matriculation and an additional
charge of ten dollars to each graduate as a diploma fee.
The matriculation fee. is not subject to rebate. In cases of total
withdrawal from the school, a pro-rata return of the tuition fee
may be authorized by the Dean. When a rebate is authorized, it
will be reckoned from the end of the month in which the Dean receives
notice from the student.
Students who have attended the Law School but have failed of
graduation, and who, as candidates for a degree, are required to
complete certain courses, must register at the beginning of the term
in which such courses are given, and pay a fee of $10 for each
course so taken. No student will be permitted to take the examination
in any course without having registered and paid the fee.
Special arrangements may be made by members of the Bar, or
others, not regular students of the Law School, for attending any
particular part or branch of instruction at rates of charge in proportion
to the above.
Opportunity for Attending Other Lectures.
All the courses upon History and Politics at the Johns Hopkins
University are open to law students upon the payment of very
moderate fees, and are given at hours which do not interfere with
the attendance upon the lectures at the Law School.
