<strong>Poetry</strong> <strong>Anthology</strong><br />
I am a lunch box.<br />
This is what I do:<br />
I keep your lunch cold,<br />
I feel sad when you eat your lunch,<br />
I feel happy when you take me home,<br />
I would change my design to peace signs if I<br />
could,<br />
I would tell my owner to keep me clean,<br />
and not to sing me around,<br />
AND to fill me up AGAIN!<br />

I used to believe in Santa Claus,<br />
but now I know he is my parents.<br />
I know that is them because they told me.<br />
Also I saw them wrapping my presents.<br />
I used to believe in the tooth fairy,<br />
but know I don’t because she is my parents.<br />
I know this because a quarter is too heavy for her.<br />
Also my parents told me.<br />
I used to believe in the Easter Bunny,<br />
but he is fake.<br />
I know this because a bunny can’t go around the<br />
world in one night.<br />
Also my doors are locked.<br />
When I was young I believed everything<br />
now that I’m older I use more common sense<br />
like can reindeer fly?<br />

Models get perms on it<br />
Hair<br />
I like that stuff.<br />
Children roam on it<br />
Oceans foam on it<br />
Sand<br />
I like that stuff.<br />
You can organize books in it<br />
Teachers often take looks in it<br />
Desks<br />
I like that stuff.<br />
