Contest will be held at Jukebox Junction Stage at 5 pm. All contestants must be under 18 years of age. All
performing arts are welcome: singers, dancers or dance groups, magicians, comedians, musicians & bands.
Each act must be 3 minutes or under. No entry fee, yet all contestants must purchase park entrance and tickets
according to park rules and regulations.
Each performer must bring the track needed to the front gate (McBrien Road entrance) on the Wednesday
preceding the Sunday performance (August 1, 8, or 15) between the hours of 2 pm-5 pm. Proof-of-age (driver’s
license, birth certificate, State ID, etc.) will be required at this time.
A maximum of twenty (20) acts per week will be accepted. The audience will vote on the top four acts each
week. Those acts will return on Sunday, August 26 to compete for the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner
will be determined by audience response.
On the day of each event, Lake Winnepesaukah will provide mixer, speakers, 2 monitors and up to 4 wireless
microphones, as well as tech support to play recorded music provided by contestants.
Rules
1. Come On, Get Happy! This is a fun, no pressure way to show your talent at Lake Winnepesaukah!
2. All acts must be 3 minutes or under.
3. All performers must be under 18 years of age.
4. Any CD recordings needed for the act MUST be dropped off at our gate on the Wednesday preceding the
performance between the hours of 2 pm - 5 pm. All CD’s must be properly labeled with the performer’s
name and date. If performer has recorded music it must be in standard audio CD format. NO MP3s.
5. All acts must be “Family Friendly”. No profane language, hazardous or messy objects allowed.
6. Winners who elect not to return on August 26 forfeit their right to compete for the Grand Prize.
7. Lake Winnepesaukah employees are not eligible to enter.
PRIZES
• Each of the top 4 weekly winners will receive the opportunity to return on Sunday, August 26, along with 4
complimentary Lake Winnepesaukah Gate Admission tickets to be used for that date.
• For the Final Show, the Grand Prize winner will receive $500.00 cash as well as the opportunity to perform
as the opening act on Sunday, September 2, 2012 for Confederate Railroad at 3:00 pm.
• Runner up at the Final show will receive $250.00 cash.
