Santa Brunch Volunteers Needed
Santa Brunch is looking for a decorating chairperson, volunteers to sell
tickets after Masses during the month of November and
volunteers to help with the event Sunday, December 2. This
event is a great opportunity for students to complete service
hours! Please call Mona Wigen at 763-670-2765 or the
parish offi ce at 763-421-2471 and leave your name and phone number.

We are a Catholic, family, fraternal, service organization. If you are a
Catholic male and 18 years of age you and your family are
eligible for membership. There will be membership information
sessions conducted at the KC Hall, 2421 4th
Avenue North in Anoka, on Tuesday, October 30, and
Thursday, November 8. If you have questions please
contact Al Kempf at 763-421-0116 or else just show up at the hall by
7:30 p.m. on one of those dates. Wives are welcome to attend as well.
All Are Invited to Stepping Stone’s Open House at
Its New Facility

Stepping Stone Emergency Housing (shelter) has enjoyed a unique and
signifi cant relationship with St. Stephen's since its board's inception in
2005. Fr. Mike has generously selected Stepping Stone as an almsgiving
recipient; most of the original and current board members are parishioners;
many others, including our kitchen volunteers as well as members
of the WHO group, Stephen Ministers and individual donors have been
instrumental in the success of reaching out to individuals experiencing
homelessness in Anoka County.
As a "thank you," Stepping Stone would like to invite you to its “new
home." Because of you, and others like you, Stepping Stone has been
able to move to a new facility and
will be able to accommodate 60
residents instead of the 16 residents
they could shelter in the old
facility. This tremendous growth
was most certainly a community
eff ort bringing all kinds of folks together
to work for one united and common goal - to love one another,
as we have been loved.
Please plan to attend the Open House on Sunday, November 11, from
2:00-5:00 p.m. at 3300 4th Avenue, Cronin Building #14 on the campus
of the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center. For more information
