Jim McNally<br />
Former NFL Offensive Line Coach<br />
Guest Speakers<br />
Kenmore West graduate, Jim McNally, was considered <strong>to</strong>o small <strong>to</strong> play line. His size<br />
and speed even earned him the nickname “Mouse” in the back yards of Kenmore. Jim began his<br />
coaching career as an assistant with UB until the school ended their football program, Jim moved<br />
on <strong>to</strong> other other college programs including Marshall, Bos<strong>to</strong>n College, and Wake Forest before<br />
being hired as the offensive line coach with the Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL.<br />
Jim would spend 15 years with Cincinnati coaching a line anchored by Pro Football Hall<br />
of Famer, Anthony Munoz. After leaving Cincinnati in 1994, Jim signed on as offensive line coach<br />
for the NFL expansion franchise, Carolina Panthers and then would hold the same position for<br />
the New York Giants during their 2000 appearance in the Super Bowl. Jim then got the opportunity<br />
<strong>to</strong> come back home <strong>to</strong> Western New York and coach for his home<strong>to</strong>wn Bills. In 2007, after four<br />
years with the Bills and over 30 years of coaching, McNally retired.<br />
Jim is a member of the Kenmore West Athletic Hall of Fame and a 2008 inductee <strong>to</strong> the<br />
Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame. He was inducted in<strong>to</strong> the UB Athletic Hall of Fame in 1982.<br />
Len Jankiewicz<br />
Former Head Football Coach Lancaster High School<br />
A 1969 graduate of Lancaster High School, Len attended SUNY Brockport where he<br />
graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics in 1973. In 1974 Len returned <strong>to</strong> his alma mater as an<br />
assistant coach on Joe Foyle’s staff at Lancaster. He remained on Joe’s staff until his retirement in<br />
1986 where he was then promoted <strong>to</strong> head coach and later Athletic Direc<strong>to</strong>r in 1993. Len would<br />
remain the head coach at Lancaster until his retirement in 2011, amassing a record of 143-93-2.<br />
Len has been the recipient of numerous awards through his coaching career including<br />
the Gordon Bukaty Memorial Award in 2006 and Section VI Athletic Administra<strong>to</strong>r of the Year in<br />
2007. He was also inducted in<strong>to</strong> the WNY Baseball Hall of Fame in 2004.<br />
An active member of the Western New York scholastic athletics community, Len has<br />
sat on, and chaired, many committees including the Section VI Athletic Council, WNY Amateur<br />
Football Alliance, and the WNY Football Coaches Association.<br />
Len resides in Lancaster with his wife Robin.<br />
Jack Catanzaro<br />
Union College All-American<br />
Jack is a 1986 graduate of Lancaster High School and was an All-Star on the 1985<br />
Championship Team, Joe Foyle’s final season as head coach at Lancaster. He went on <strong>to</strong> attend<br />
Union College where he captained the 1989 team that won the Lambert Cup and played for the<br />
Division III National Championship in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl. That season Jack achieved<br />
first team all league, all East and All-American honors for his play at offensive guard.<br />
Dave Hack<br />
5 Time CFL All-Star and 1999 Grey Cup Champion<br />
As a player, Dave was a three-year starter at Division I Maryland. A member of the<br />
Buffalo Bills practice squad in 1996, he went on <strong>to</strong> play nine seasons with the Hamil<strong>to</strong>n Tiger Cats<br />
of the CFL, where he was a five-time league all-star and won the Grey Cup Championship in 1999.<br />
He has also coached two seasons at both St. Francis High School and Erie Community College and<br />
served as a guest coach with Hamil<strong>to</strong>n and the Toron<strong>to</strong> Argonauts in the CFL.<br />
In 2008 David joined the Buffalo State Bengals’ coaching staff <strong>to</strong> help coach the offensive<br />
line. He is the founder of “Be the Best” Football Camp LLC. He has a bachelor’s degree from<br />
Maryland in kinesiology and a master’s in education from D’Youville College. David is a native of<br />
Holland, NY, and he currently resides in East Aurora with his wife Deborah and their two Bernese<br />
mountain dogs.<br />
