ridge poles are made<br />
locally in our Melbourne<br />
factory. Unlike our other<br />
round tube <strong>product</strong>s,<br />
ridge poles have a square<br />
profile for even greater<br />
strength. The square<br />
steel tube is hot dipped<br />
galvanised.<br />
Square ridge poles are<br />
designed to span across<br />
the centre of a tarpaulin<br />
width ways. This creates<br />
a centre ridge and<br />
prevents the centre of a<br />
tarpaulin from sagging.<br />
The ends of the square<br />
ridge pole have drilled<br />
holes so that they can<br />
fit over tent pole spigots.<br />
A three piece ridge pole<br />
is made up of two pieces<br />
of 25.4mm square tube,<br />
with one 22.2mm square<br />
tube that slides inside<br />
both 25.4mm tube ends.<br />
This makes for a strong,<br />
well supported joint.<br />
