Skin contact:<br />
Immediately rinse the affected skin area with running water after any contact with the<br />
above named buffer solution, and consider seeking medical help.<br />
Eye contact:<br />
Rinse profusely for at least 15 minutes if any amount of those solutions gets into the<br />
eyes. Hold the eyelids wide open while irrigating the eyes.<br />
5. Fire-fighting Measures<br />
No recommendation of specific measures.<br />
6. Accidental Release Measures<br />
<strong>RF</strong>-<strong>SorboTech</strong> should be treated as if potentially infectious, and handled with the<br />
appropriate precautionary measures. Wear medical gloves for single use (EN455) and<br />
suitable laboratory clothing to prevent skin contact, and observe the relevant guidelines<br />
for laboratory procedures. Take care to avoid skin and eye exposure.<br />
7. Handling and Storage<br />
7.1. Storage:<br />
Store the reagents under dry and cool conditions at 2–8°C.<br />
Do not use beyond the expiration date.<br />
7.2. Handling:<br />
Keep doors and windows closed while working with this material (avoid air draughts).<br />
Avoid skin exposure. In the event of skin contact, first carefully disinfect the<br />
contaminated skin, using a disinfectant product for the hands. Then wash the skin area.<br />
On the conclusion of work with (potentially) infectious material and whenever there has<br />
been a spill of (potentially) infectious material, work stations and utensils must be<br />
cleaned with a surface disinfectant. The relevant guidelines for laboratory procedures<br />
must be followed carefully.<br />
8. Exposure Controls and Personal Protection<br />
Breathing mask:<br />
It is not necessary to wear a mask for respiratory protection.<br />
Gloves:<br />
To prevent skin contact, medical disposable gloves should be worn.<br />
