WELLS-CTI's new Thermal Control<br />

Unit (<strong>TCU</strong>), the DT-0504 is the<br />

thermal control. It uses DTT, Direct<br />

Touch Technology, to enable the<br />

thermal control technology for<br />

precision control of temperature<br />

during device character izatian.<br />

DTT also eliminates the issues<br />

associated with handling of thermal<br />

interface materials.<br />

Unlike forced air systems the DT-0504 allows bench level data collection without stressing other<br />

peripheral components. The unit is a self-contained closed loop system which is easily integrated<br />

into your PCB, SLT, or bench environments. Users can confidently operate the unit remotely, or<br />

unsupervised, as condensation is eliminated and the test temperature is controlled by the software.<br />

Ideal for the telecom market, the DT-0504 will fall within size constraints of any bench top<br />

environment. Using device temperature monitoring the user can accurately control IC's to within<br />

+l-ZoC regardless of device wattage or finite space requirements.<br />

The modular design allows quick changes to accommodate different package sizes and types and is<br />

easily adapted to test sockets and PC board footprints to match the smallest footprint size constraints.<br />

The micro size facilitates use of multiple units side-by-side on ATE bench platforms for system level<br />

or product validation testing.<br />
