Note: each of these certifications must be accomplished under the provision of the<br />
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act or the equivalent for non-DOD personnel.<br />
USAASC Eligibility Requirements:<br />
• Be a civilian Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (AL&T) Workforce member at<br />
the grade of GS-11 and above or equivalent grade within a Demonstration Project.<br />
• Be certified in your current <strong>acquisition</strong> position.<br />
• Have a letter of acceptance from NPS.<br />

announcement (http://asc.<strong>army</strong>.mil/events/).<br />
Civilian AL&T Workforce members at the grade of GS-11 and above or equivalent grade<br />
within a Demonstration Project and certified in their current <strong>acquisition</strong> position.<br />
24 months<br />
The course is conducted by distance learning at participant’s duty station during duty<br />
hours (3 hours twice a week).<br />
10 per credit hour<br />
The announcement and board application are automated processes. Applications<br />
should be submitted through the Army Acquisition Professional Development System<br />
(AAPDS). AAPDS can be accessed via your Career Acquisition Personnel and Position<br />
Management Information System (CAPPMIS) and Career Acquisition Management<br />
Portal login at https://rda.altess.<strong>army</strong>.mil/camp/. The user name and password will<br />
be the same used to access the Individual Development Plan and Acquisition Career<br />
Record Brief. Once in CAPPMIS, select “AAPDS” tab, select “Apply” link, and then<br />
select “NPS-MSPM” link for application submission.<br />
