3rd Party Leads at a discounted price. Dealers can
reside in states where per lead pricing is not allowed
will pay a flat subscription monthly fee. Enrollment is
available both online at the ELMS Dashboard or via
the TDDS Help Desk (1-888-511-8904).
Q: Will Dealers be required to purchase 3rd Party Leads?
A: No, 3rd Party Lead participation is completely optional
for all TDDS participating Dealers.
Q: Which 3rd Party Lead sources will be included
in this feature?
A: Lead sources cannot be disclosed. Dealers will receive
the highest quality leads as a supplement to your
existing 3PL Feature. All leads will be filtered and
de-duped to save you time and effort.
Q: What if a Dealer believes he has received a duplicate
or invalid customer name in these leads?
A: Just contact the TDDS Help Desk at (1-888-511-8904)
or email info@tmsusaconnect.com. The lead will
be credited and marked as a duplicate or invalid in the
system for reporting purposes. Click the Tool menu in the
or submit a lead on 3PL provider websites. Each 3PL
provider has different rules for consumers selecting a
Dealer. TMS will not resell a lead but will distribute to
each Dealer the consumer selected.
tddsProgram.com
Q: Can a Dealer receive leads from the brand websites
without buying 3rd Party Leads?
A: Yes, brand website leads are TMS USA owned leads
and provided to Dealers at no cost.
Q: Why would Dealers buy 3rd Party Leads through
the TDDS Program if they buy leads directly from
3rd Party Lead providers?
A: The TDDS 3PL Feature provides incremental leads
beyond your existing direct relationships with 3PL
providers.
Q: How many leads can one Dealer purchase at a time?
A: The Dealer can buy all the leads available in their
local PMA. The Dealer retail contracts with 3PL
providers will receive priority over the TDDS 3PL
Feature.
Q: Will the Dealer be able to purchase leads outside
the Dealer’s PMA?
A: If a Dealer chooses not to participate in the 3PL Feature,
the leads attributed to that Dealer’s PMA will be made
available to the next closest participating Dealer based
on PMA. If that Dealer declines, then the leads are
offered to the next closest Dealer based on PMA.
Q: What if the Dealer chooses to buy more leads
outside of the feature?
A: The Dealer can always choose to buy more 3rd Party
in the Program?
A: The Dealer can contact TDDS Help Desk to set up
Toyota Dealer Digital Solutions : Toyota Financial Services
Toyota Financial Services
Access high-quality Toyota Financial Services (TFS) sales leads
from customers who are in the market and ready to buy or lease today
In the past, these leads were available via Dealer Daily and RouteOne, but we’re now making it easy for you to see
everything in the all-new integrated Enterprise Lead Management System (ELMS) resulting in consolidated sales
leads, faster processing, and automation.
So, where do these TFS leads come from?
TFS is unique in that it is the one Toyota company that maintains an active relationship with the customer beyond
the initial vehicle purchase or lease. As a result, our high-touch Customer Service Centers are able to generate
the following valuable lead types:
n Total Loss – When a customer’s vehicle is deemed
a Total Loss due to accident, nature, or theft, these
individuals receive specialized service treatment to
lead them back into another Toyota or Scion vehicle
and back to your dealership.
n Lease End – Customers close to the end of their lease
may be looking to get into another vehicle if they don’t
purchase their off-lease model, so these individuals may
express interest in being contacted by a Dealer.
n Retail Retention – Retail customers, especially
those in an equity position, are contacted by TFS,
and some are interested in learning more about
new models.
TddSprogram.com
n Off-Lease Financing – Some lease customers want to
purchase their current lease vehicle and request financing
at the dealership.
n Off-Lease Financing/Insurance Product – In addition
to wanting to purchase their lease vehicle and requesting
financing at the dealership, some lease customers also
express interest in purchasing a vehicle service agreement,
or other Toyota products, to obtain extra vehicle or
payment protection.
n Insurance and Other Products – New retail or lease
customers sometimes express interest in purchasing
a vehicle service agreement, or other Toyota products,
to obtain extra vehicle or payment protection.
Beyond our Customer Service Centers, TFS also generates thousands of leads from our Online Credit Application
(OCA), accessible via toyotafinancial.com, TCUV.com and Scion.com. With the OCA, consumers who are considering
a vehicle purchase or lease can submit a credit application to get pre-qualified by TFS.
*Toyota Financial Service is a service mark used by Toyota Motor Credit Corporation and Toyota Least Trust, Inc.
Toyota Dealer Digital Solutions : Toyota Financial Services
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When will the TFS sales leads generated by the TFS
Customer Service Centers stop being published on
Dealer Daily?
A: TFS will stop sending leads to Dealer Daily in July 2012.
Q: Has TFS stopped sending On-line Credit Applications
(OCAs) to RouteOne, since OCAs are sent through
ELMS?
A: No, only key lead data, such as customer name and
contact information from the OCA is sent through
ELMS. The full, decisioned credit application is still
sent through RouteOne to the F&I managers at the
dealerships.
Q: How long will TFS sales leads be available in ELMS?
A: TFS lead details will sunset from ELMS 30 days after
that lead generation. After 30 days, lead detail (i.e.,
customer identifiable information) will not be visible in
ELMS; however, the lead itself will remain in ELMS for
2 years.
Q: Will the customer identifiable information removal rules
apply to TFS sales data sent to my CRM tool?
A: No, once the TFS sales lead information is in your
dealership’s CRM tool, the dealership’s data rentention
and handling policies will be applicable.
Q: Will my Contact Status performance be negatively
impacted by waiting to call a customer at his or her
preferred time?
A: With the limited volume of customers requesting a
delayed call-back time compared to the overall volume
of leads being delivered to you, this should not have a
significant impact on your Contact Status rate.
Q: Are “Immediate Action” leads similar to the “Hot
Leads” that were listed in Dealer Daily?
A: Yes, “Immediate Action” leads were previously
identified in Dealer Daily as “Hot Leads.” “Immediate
Action” will only be applied to customers who
experience a total loss of their vehicle.
Q: Why are Off-Lease Financing, Off-Lease Financing/
Insurance Product and Insurance Product lead types
listed in ELMS as “Certified Used” leads?
A: There are 2 categories for lead types available in ELMS:
New & Certified Used, Off-Lease Financing, Off-Lease
Financing/Insurance Product and Insurance Product
leads are not expected to generate a new vehicle sale
and are therefore listed in ELMS as “Certified Used”
leads so as not to impact the sales conversion rates of
new vehicle leads.
Q: What should I do if I receive a lead for a customer
that we have already contacted or with whom we are
already working?
A: You should disposition the lead as contacted since you
are already communicating with the customer.
Q: How do I update the Customer Loyalty Director (CLD)
for my dealership?
A: Please notify your TFS Area Sales Manager (ASM) of
the CLD change. Your TFS ASM will fill out a CLD
Update Form and follow the submission instructions on
the form.
Q: Whom can I contact if I have additional questions?
A: Should you have questions regarding ELMS
functionality, please contact the TDDS Support Desk
at (888) 511-8904. For general questions about TFS
leads, contact your TFS Area Sales Manager (ASM).
Toyota Dealer Digital Solutions : ILM/CRM Participating Providers
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will Dealers be required to use TDDS
program participating CRM providers?
in the industry to offer as many choices as possible.
Q: What if a Dealer doesn’t use an ILM or CRM tool
today but wants to participate?
A: TDDS is offering a full featured ILM tool to Dealers
as an alternative to the retail products on the market
Q: Why is Toyota requiring Dealers to use a participating
Note customer responses from a 3rd Party recipient do
not count as a quality lead response.
Q: What is considered a quality lead response?
