LADIES - GENERAL ETIQUETTE<br />
Players may use caddies of their own choice in championships.<br />
An exception to this rule is the use of Professional Players as<br />
caddies. Players are to be responsible for actions of their caddies<br />
under rule 6-4.<br />
1 No one should move, talk or stand close to or directly behind<br />
the ball or the hole when a player is addressing the ball or making<br />
a stroke.<br />
2 The Player who has the honour should be allowed to play<br />
before their fellow opponent or fellow competitor tees their ball.<br />
However to save time the player who is ready may " Tee Up"<br />
despite the honour.<br />
3 No Player should play until the players in front are out of range.<br />
4 In the interest of all, players should play without delay.<br />
5 Players searching for a ball should allow other players coming<br />
up to pass them; they should signal the players following them to<br />
pass and should not continue their play until those players have<br />
passed and are out of range.<br />
6 Before leaving a bunker a player should carefully fill up all<br />
holes made by her therein.<br />
7 Through the green a player should ensure that any turf cut or<br />
displaced by her is replaced at once and pressed down, and that<br />
any damage to the putting green made by the ball is carefully<br />
repaired. Damage to the putting green caused by <strong>golf</strong> shoe spikes<br />
should be repaired on completion of hole.
8 Players should ensure that, when dropping bags or the flag<br />
stick, no damage is done to the putting green, and that neither they<br />
nor their caddies damage the hole by standing close to the hole, or<br />
in handling the flag stick, The flag stick should be properly<br />
replaced in the hole before the players leave the putting green.<br />

MATCH PLAY EVENTS.<br />
HANDICAP In match play where there are more than 18 strokes<br />
between players’s handicaps, players shall receive two strokes per<br />
hole where applicable. Maximum handicap for men and ladies is<br />
36.<br />
A player may be substituted before the first round is played or, in<br />
the event of a bye, before they have played a match. The<br />
substitute cannot have played a previous round.<br />
Players are required to complete matches on or before the set<br />
date. The <strong>Club</strong> Captain must be advised and agree to any<br />
variation. Matches not completed on the set date or agreed<br />
varied time will be awarded to the player or players present on<br />
the set down date and time.<br />
Players should keep this in mind before entering these<br />
competitions.

5 points 72, 4 points 73, 3 points 74, 2 points 75, all higher scores<br />

THE BRYANT TROPHY<br />
The best net aggregate of any six Monthly Medal Rounds,<br />
February to October.<br />
THE EDGELL CUP<br />
Point score Competition with points awarded to competitors in<br />
ordinary Saturday individual events. The course AMCR of 70 will<br />
be used in allocating points. 8 points 69 or better, 7 points 70, 6<br />
points 71, 5 points 72, 4 points 73, 3 points 74, 2 points 75, all<br />
higher scores 1 point.<br />
THE LINDSAY MUGS<br />
For teams of four, run in conjunction with Monthly Medal<br />
Rounds. Best three nett scores to count. In the event of a tie,<br />
fourth score to count. Members of team must play together as<br />
fellow competitors. It is the responsibility of the teams to post<br />
their own scores on the result board. Each member of the winning<br />
team is entitled to one (1) free mug on Saturday until the next<br />
Monthly Medal, (Maximum of four (4) mugs.)<br />
SATURDAY COMPETITIONS<br />
Saturday competitions will be normally conducted in three grades.<br />
Competitions will be restricted to two grades when the number of<br />
players does not exceed 90. Competitions may be played a.m. or<br />
p.m. where specified.
STAR MEDAL<br />
To be competed for by the grade winners of Monthly Medals from<br />
November 2011 to October <strong>2012</strong>. The play-off will be in<br />
conjunction with the Monthly Medal to be held on November 3 rd<br />
<strong>2012</strong>. Results will be against the best NETT score in each<br />
