season-ending knee injury against William &<br />

Mary in the fourth game of the season.<br />

2007: Started on the return teams for<br />

punts and kickoffs … Also worked on three<br />

other special team units … Got eight special<br />

teams plays against ECU … Saw his first action<br />

at tight end at LSU and had a catch for 14<br />

yards … Was in on 16 plays against Ohio,<br />

including nine on special teams … Suffered<br />

one shy of the school season mark of 22 made<br />

field goals … Is a perfect 14-of-14 inside the<br />

40-yard line and has made seven kicks of 40<br />

or more yards, the most for a Tech kicker since<br />

1999 … Has also handled the majority of the<br />

kickoffs over the last half of the season …<br />

Executed a perfect on-side kick in the Georgia<br />

Tech game … Leads the team in scoring and<br />

is fourth in the ACC … His 105 points are<br />

just four points shy of a new school season<br />

mark for points by a kicker … He is tied for<br />

17th nationally in field goals … A Lou Groza<br />

semifinalist.<br />

2007: Won a preseason battle for the<br />

place-kicking duties … Booted a 25-yard field<br />

goal against ECU … Hit field goals from 25, 27<br />

and 38 yards during the William & Mary game<br />

… Added five PATs for 14 points … Made a<br />

52-yard field goal in the UNC game … Booted<br />

field goals from 32 and 47 yards on the way<br />

to 11 points at Clemson … Kicked field goals<br />

of 43, 44 and 29 at Duke … Suffered his<br />

first miss in that game on a 42-yard attempt<br />

… Also missed his first PAT of the year …<br />

Handled four kickoffs against the Blue Devils<br />

… Kicked a 44-yard field goal against BC and<br />

also contributed a pooch punt that was downed<br />

inside the 20-yard line and two kickoffs, one of<br />

which resulted in a touchback … Was 2-for-3<br />

on field goals at Georgia Tech and handled all<br />

five kickoffs … Missed a 52-yard FG attempt<br />

and made one from 22 yards against Florida<br />

State … Made kicks of 40, 44 and 37 yards<br />

against Miami and also aided on a tackle after<br />

kicking off … Added four more successful field<br />

goals in the Virginia game … Also had three<br />

touchbacks on kickoffs in that game.<br />
