3. Shipment <strong>Guide</strong>lines<br />
• Corporate negotiated terms, Contracts, Plant and Buyer specific instructions take<br />
precedence over these generic guidelines.<br />
• All shipments must be arranged through Meridian IQ<br />
o Shipment details must be entered into http://tms.meridianiq.com or phoned into<br />
Meridian IQ.<br />
• Shipments are FOB ORIGIN – FREIGHT COLLECT unless advised to ship with other<br />
terms<br />
• All Third Party Shipments, or shipments that are not sent directly to a <strong>Bosch</strong> facility, must<br />
be labeled “Collect” with the <strong>Bosch</strong> Meridian IQ billing address clearly noted.<br />
• All shipments must include packing slip and commercial invoice (if international)<br />
• All containers must be labeled correctly per <strong>Bosch</strong> guidelines (see <strong>Bosch</strong> Packaging and<br />
Labeling Standards)

5. Non-Complying Shipments<br />
• Additional costs <strong>for</strong> shipments sent through any other means besides Meridian IQ will be<br />
charged back to the supplier in the <strong>for</strong>m of a debit memo..<br />
• Suppliers shipments without proper labeling will be assessed a fine of $100 per<br />
container. This will be sent as a debit memo.<br />
6. Premium Freight<br />
• Premium freight shipments (whether <strong>Bosch</strong>’s or supplier’s responsibility) require a <strong>Bosch</strong><br />
Premium Authorization Number (DNT).<br />
• All premium shipments (whether <strong>Bosch</strong>’s or supplier’s responsibility) must be sent via<br />
Meridian IQ. Any exception will cause a chargeback to the supplier of the excess cost.<br />
• The DNT number must be printed on the Bill of Lading and Commercial Invoice (if<br />
needed)<br />
• Premium freight that is <strong>Bosch</strong>’s responsibility will be shipped ‘Collect”<br />
• Premium freight that is the supplier’s responsibility will be shipped “Prepaid”<br />
• Contact Meridian IQ <strong>for</strong> shipment routing<br />
7. Shipments Delayed Due to Weather or Acts of God<br />
• In situations where shipments may be delayed due to weather, <strong>Bosch</strong> will incur all<br />
expenses of expediting freight if supplier is current with shipments. For shipments where<br />
the supplier is behind schedule, the supplier will incur any additional costs due to<br />
expediting of freight<br />
8. Due Date<br />
• Due Date as noted on the Purchase Order or Material Release is the date the shipment is<br />
due into <strong>Bosch</strong>, not the ship date.<br />
9. Supplier Shipment Requirements<br />
• For I-Supply/ICH suppliers – An ASN must be sent at the time of shipment<br />
• For non I-Supply suppliers – The expected ship quantity must be entered into Power<br />
TMS 24 hours prior to scheduled pickup<br />
• Failure to do so, may require premium freight at the supplier’s expense.<br />
10. Carriers – Surface<br />
• Use carriers per Power TMS routing, or contact Meridian IQ<br />
11. Carriers – Milkrun<br />
• Use carriers outlined in Power TMS<br />
12. Package Shipments<br />
• For any domestic package shipments above 70 lbs., please contact Meridian IQ be<strong>for</strong>e<br />
shipping.<br />
