The intervention
• Focused on talking about morphemes and their
meaning in I1; in I2, added focus on spelling
• Children learned some technical words (prefix,
stem, suffix, noun, verb, adjective, abstract noun,
agent).
• Tasks were presented on the screen. Children
answered in pairs and discussed their answers.
