Since 1972, 75 Wilmington College football players have earned All-America honors. Will No. 76 be
wearing the green and white this fall?
“We know that individual success comes after team success, and often comes as result of team success,”
Wilmington head coach Barry Wulf said. “When you look at the impressive list of All-Americans that have
been a part of this program, you are immediately reminded of not only incredibly talented, but remarkably
unselfish players—players who always had their teams’ best interest in mind. Our players understand and
appreciate what it takes for teams and individuals to achieve.”
The Quakers also have made their mark in the classroom. Twenty-five Wilmington football players have
received either Academic All-American or Academic All-District honors since 1982.
“Our players know that coming to Wilmington College is about more than football. It’s about developing
the skills that will help them be community leaders,” Wulf said. “We are extremely proud of the tradition of
classroom excellence and community service within this program.”
