1. To find indicated power of four stroke petrol engine by Morse Test.
2. To prepare heat balance sheet of petrol engine test ring.
3. To prepare the heat balance sheet for diesel engine test ring.
4. To identify the differences between two stroke and four stroke S.I. engine.
5. To determine the calorific value of a liquid fuel using Bomb Calorimeter.
6. To determine the calorific value of a liquid fuel using Gas Calorimeter.
7. To find out the COP (Coefficient of Performance) of a Vapour Compression Refrigeration
system.
8. To study the working of velocity compounded Steam Turbine.
9. Study of steam Engine model.
10. Study of Gas Turbine Model
Evaluation of Practical Examination:
Internal Evaluation (50 marks)
Each experiment would be evaluated by the faculty concerned on the date of the experiment on a 5 point
scale which would include the practical conducted by the students and a Viva taken by the faculty
concerned. The marks shall be entered on the index sheet of the practical file.
