1. To determine the ternary liquid equillibria (Binodal curve).
2. To study the liquid-liquid equilibria.

6. To determine the dynamics of liquid drops (Single drop extraction tower).
7. To studies of axial mixing characteristics in a packed bed.

10. To determine the Mass balance and Energy balance in Feed forward and Feed backward Evaporator.
Evaluation of Practical Examination:
Internal Evaluation (50 marks)
Each experiment would be evaluated by the faculty concerned on the date of the experiment on a 5 point
scale which would include the practical conducted by the students and a Viva taken by the faculty
concerned. The marks shall be entered on the index sheet of the practical file.
