allow to dry completely. Do not apply the tinfoil substitute on iinner surfaces of the
teeth as this will create gap between the teeth and resin material.
When the tinfoil substitute has dried completely, close the two halves of the flask that
have cooled down by this time and tighten the bolts securely, in preparation for the
next step, INJECTING.
Pre-injection: TCS cartridges should be pre-heated approximately at 122-140 degrees
Fahrenheit (50-60 degrees Centigrade)
Pre-heat the furnace to approximately 450-475 degrees Fahrenheit
Spray with the provided TCS mold release spary the inside of the cylinder provided. It
is important to take note that cylinder should always be allowed to warm up in
between cycles, for at least 10 minutes before resin materials in tubes are placed
inside for melting.
Insert the TCS cartridge into the cylinder with the cap end first.
Then, spray a brass disc as well with the TCS mold release spray provided, before
inserting the disc into the cylinder against the end of the tube containing the resin
materials. Let the resin material melt (plasticize) for approximately 9 minutes in the
furnace. Position the flask with the sprue end up, directly under the shaft of the press;
shaft should be raised to indicate “injecting of TCS is ready.
