Advanced Programmer Control Software
TaskLink ® for Windows from Data I/O ® is a powerful, easy-to-use software
tool that enhances the quality and efficiency of your programming process.
TaskLink intuitively guides you through every step of your device programming
process, from device selection and data download, to programming
parameter setup, operation and process control.
TaskLink makes programming control faster, easier and more accurate with
its unique “Task Manager” feature. With Task Manager, you can capture your
programming steps in a single task and save specific job profiles to a library
of tasks — giving you the convenience and efficiency of one-step
programming the next time around. Simply select a task from the Task
Manager menu, and a single “run” command automatically executes all of the
steps in your programming process, prompting and updating you throughout
the process.
Quality Processes for Manufacturing
Tasks and Kits
Having the ability to create and use Tasks and Kits provides a powerful
manufacturing advantage by allowing you to capture and save your repetitive
programming routines, for faster, error-free operation. A Task is a job setup
containing all the information necessary for programming and/or testing a
particular device. A Task records all of the parameters of the job set-up,
including the device type and the data file to be entered. A Kit is a group of
Tasks you set up to program the various devices you need to build a particular
product board. User defined messages, such as telling the operator when to
load a specific device, can be displayed — thus eliminating operator error.
Network Functionality
TaskLink supports network functionality, so files can be accessed on any
network drive from a PC connected to the network. As a result, you have the
flexibility to maintain and control a central location for task and data files.
New tasks can be created off-line using simulation mode, saved to the
network, and then accessed at the local programming station.
Password Protection Ensures Quality Process Control
With TaskLink’s password protection capabilities, you can be sure your
programming process remains completely secure. Separate Administrator and
Operator modes lets the supervisor define all steps in the programming
process, and save them in a password-protected task file. The operator then
simply logs in with the pre-defined password and selects the required task.
For added safety, the operator can only run tasks, and cannot change critical
programming parameters.
On-Screen Programming Statistics Optimize Your Processes
TaskLink captures all results of the programming process as statistics, giving
you the vital information you need to effectively control your programming
process. By having the ability to review trends in the statistics and quickly
locate and resolve problems, you can improve the quality of your process and,
ultimately, maximize your yields and productivity.
