Project manager for Best Practice implementation in TMG. Co-assisted IBM in value<br />
chain process development <strong>of</strong> automotive production lines.
2001 – 2003 HAMP Business System<br />
Project manager for introduction <strong>of</strong> implementation <strong>of</strong> Hydro Best Practice and<br />
CORPORUM Knowledge Factory in Hydro Aluminium. Knowledge Factory consists <strong>of</strong><br />
knowledge bases and linguistic tools for efficient knowledge sharing and content<br />
management. Designed for 30.000 end users. Managed the introduction <strong>of</strong> the FAROS<br />
methodology and spearheaded the facilitation <strong>of</strong> 28 business processes.<br />
1996 – 2000 Director <strong>of</strong> Technology and Research<br />
2000 – 2002 OntoKnowledge<br />
Participation in EU-funded project on studies and use <strong>of</strong> ontologies in content<br />
management. Other participants included University <strong>of</strong> Amsterdam, University <strong>of</strong><br />
Karlsruhe, British Telecom R&D, Enersearch, AI Administrator. Partly responsible for<br />
development <strong>of</strong> extraction technology based on MIMIR concept.<br />
2000 CORPORUM Summarizer<br />
Responsible for development <strong>of</strong> a text summarizer based on semantic analysis and ontology<br />
management. Development <strong>of</strong> fuzzy algorithm for contextual threading <strong>of</strong> paragraphs and<br />
extraction technique for both summarisation <strong>of</strong> a multiple discourse document and interest<br />
driven summary. Summarizer was commercialised and is today recognized as one <strong>of</strong> the<br />
leading commercial summarizers in the world.<br />
1998 – 2000 TEKMO/MIMIR<br />
Project responsible. Text interpretation based on context models. Research on detection<br />
<strong>of</strong> ontological structures in text. Development <strong>of</strong> system based on structural<br />
computational linguistics and fuzzy ontological structures for enabling efficient<br />
contextual detection <strong>of</strong> a discourse and intelligent extraction. Development <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Resonance Algorithm – a novel approach for combined hypothesis and data driven search<br />
and filtering whereby hypotheses are used as perception filters that are dynamically<br />
adjusted according to what support is given to the different hypothesis mustered.
1996- 1998 Hand-El Skandinavia<br />
Constituted manager for systems development. Responsible for introduction <strong>of</strong> OO<br />
methodology, know-how co-ordination and training <strong>of</strong> development staff. Tools:<br />
