Swenson, 56, resident of<br />
Williston, North Dakota, died<br />
November 24, 2012, with her<br />
family by her side at Trinity<br />
Medical Center in Minot,<br />
North Dakota.<br />
She was born June<br />
7,1956, at Good Samaritan<br />
Hospital in Williston, ND to<br />
Hillmar and Elvera (Anderson)<br />
Bolken. She was one of<br />
six children and was raised<br />
on the family farm outside of<br />
Alexander, North Dakota.<br />
She graduated from<br />
Alexander High School in<br />
Karen Swenson<br />
1974. Karen met the love of<br />
her life, Kurt Swenson, and<br />
was blessed with five children.<br />
Karen worked for 30+ years in the print industry, including<br />
Basin Printers, <strong>The</strong> <strong>Roundup</strong>, Sidney Herald, Williston<br />
Herald, and most recently, Ink Spot Printing.<br />
She was dedicated to her work career, and had a hard<br />
work ethic. Karen loved to spend time with her family, especially<br />
her grandchildren. Her interests included gardening,<br />
sewing, reading, and riding bicycle. She devoted much of<br />
her time and energy as a caregiver to family members, including<br />
caring for her mother who passed away two years<br />
ago at 89.<br />
Karen is survived by her husband, Kurt Swenson,<br />
Williston; daughter, Kassie Swenson (Steve Leonard), Spokane,<br />
WA; 4 sons; Wade (Kate Eckel) Swenson, Minneapolis,<br />
MN, Jeremy Swenson, Geoff Swenson (Kristan Hiltsley),<br />
and Chad Swenson, Williston, ND; sister, Linda (Russ) Wells,<br />
Cape Coral, FL; 4 brothers, Robert (Bob) Bolken, Gillette,<br />

A funeral service for Karen was at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday,<br />
November 29, at New Hope Wesleyan Church in<br />

Irene Knels, 92, Sidney, MT<br />
Funeral services for Irene Knels, 92 of Sidney were at<br />
2:00 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2012, at the Ebenezer Congregational<br />
Church with Pastor David Meehan officiating.<br />
Interment was in the Sidney Cemetery, Sidney, MT under the<br />
direction of the Fulkerson Funeral Home of Sidney. Remembrances<br />
and condolences may be shared with the family at<br />

Irene died on Wednesday afternoon, November 28,<br />
2012, at the Sidney Health Center Extended Care Facility.<br />
