quiet running and mobile are the proven portable MEDAP
septic fluid and drainage suction pumps that underscore
the outstanding reputation of MAQUET in medical techno-

The electric suction pumps of the 7000 and 4000 series
have been developed specifically for use on the patient in
the areas of septic fluid aspiration or drainage aspiration
and thoracic drainage. They are particularly reliable in
drawing blood, septic fluid and serous fluid from both
natural and artificial body orifices. MEDAP drainage suction
pumps are additionally suitable for the rinsing and wound
drainage.
MEDAP septic fluid and drainage suction pumps provide
excellent patient care in a clinical environment, in rescue
services and in medical practices. In addition, the 7000
series can also be used in nursing homes and by tracheo-
tomy patients in the home care area.

Intelligent modular system: The basic versions of the handy
septic fluid and ambulance suction pumps P 7010, P 7020,
P 7030 have an easily readable vacuum gauge and a regula-
ting valve; the ambulance suction pump P 7020 also has an
accumulator with accumulator charging display and an auto-
mobile power supply cable. A great variety of application
sets allow the septic fluid suction pumps to be adapted to
individual requirements.

Freeflow as required: The proven septic fluid and ambu-
lance suction pumps of the 7000 series are distinguished
by a high vacuum from -76 kPa to -90 kPA and a low flow
rate of 12 l freeflow/min (P 7010 and P 7050) up to a high
flow rate of 25 l freeflow/min (P 7030).
Mobile in the ambulant area: The septic fluid suction
pump P 7020 with a built-in accumulator ensures a
mains-independent operation of up to 30 minutes.
Advantageous: The complete unit of the septic fluid
suction pump P 7050 comprises a suction set of 0.7 l in
its basic version. In addition, a manometer with regulating
valve and overflow protection, a 1.0 l septic fluid plastic
jar and a hydrophobic filter are available as accessories.

Low vacuum, low flow rate: With a low vacuum of 0 to
-20 kPa and a low freeflow of 6 l/min, the two easily portable,
almost noiseless drainage suction pumps P 4020 and P 4030
(accumulator version) are suitable for the aspiration of ichor
and for the rinsing/wound drainage – both in hospitals and
during the transportation of patients.
Tailor-made application sets: Depending on their specific
individual requirements, hospitals, rescue services and
medical practices can select practice-oriented application

vacuum gauge and regulating valve and – in the accumulator
version – with built-in accumulator, charging display and
automobile power supply cable. For the precision adjustment
during the thoracic drainage, a water manometer 30 mbar
(accessory) is available.
Optimum patient care during transportation: In the accu-
mulator version P 4030, the power supply is ensured either
by an automobile power supply cable for operation through
a car battery (basic equipment) or by an optional mains
adapter/charger for continuous operation. The running time
with accumulator is 60 minutes in the case of the P 4030.
Protection and safety: All of the septic fluid and drainage
suction pumps of the 7000 and 4000 series have an integra-
ted, mechanical overflow protection in the septic fluid jar cap,
as well as a replaceable bacterial filter in the discharged air
area.
