As a wedding photographer since 2002, Tony has been privileged to have photographed 500+ 

weddings of various cultures, including American, Chinese, Filipino, French, Greek, Indian, Italian, 

Japanese, Korean, Persian, Spanish, Thai, Vietnamese, and many more in the United States as 

well as in other countries around the world. Tony’s photography has also been featured on many

Frequently Asked Questions 



- Are you a full-time photographer? 

Yes, and I specialize in just wedding and engagement photography. While most photographers 

juggle between a regular job and photography over the weekend, I feel that doing so 

compromise the quality of the photos delivered to my couples. Each year I am blessed to be 

part of so many awesome weddings throughout the world, and thus have allowed me to stay as 

a full-time photographer and be devoted to do what I do best and love. 

- Do you have a limit on the photos taken? 

Absolute not. I will take as many photos as I feel necessary to capture everything in order to 

produce a beautiful story-telling wedding album for you. I generally snap between 3000-4000 

photos at each wedding. 

- Are the packages shown on your web site the only ones you offer? 

The packages on my web site are simply those most commonly booked by my clients. With all 

my clients, I always strive to put together a package that best fits their needs and budgets. You 

are more than welcome to customize any package to the way you want. 

- How many photographers will there be on my wedding day? 

I will personally be there to photograph your wedding event, and depending on the schedule 

and events of your wedding day, a second photographer will be available when needed. I 

would like to emphasize the fact that the second shooter will also be a wedding photographer 

like myself, with similar experience photographing weddings. The difference will be more than 

noticeable compared to using an assistant who is new to the industry. 

- What is your photography style? 

My style of photography is very natural and unobtrusive. As a wedding photographer, I will be 

there to document the events as they unfold on your wedding day, not be a visible part of it. My 

experience in wedding photography over the years allows me to properly capture everything, 

all the important moments, without being in the way. The only time you will really notice me is 

during the family portrait session before and after the ceremony. But as always, I'll be on the 

lookout anytime you would like a snapshot of you and your guests. 

- For your photo-journalistic style of photography, do you take the formal family portrait session? 

Absolutely. The family portrait session is usually taken separately before the ceremony if the 

couple chooses not to see each other, and together after the ceremony. And of course, more 

portrait photos will be taken during the reception with guests attending just the reception. 





- My fiancé and I won't be seeing each other before the ceremony, how will you take our 

photos? 

90% of the couples I've worked with take this traditional approach and not see each other 

before the ceremony. The first look on the groom's face as he sees his bride walking down the 

aisle is absolutely timeless. In these situations, I always prefer to spend as much time as possible 

to take separate family portrait sessions before the ceremony: the bride and her family and her 

bridesmaids, the groom and his family and his groomsmen. After the ceremony, we'll take all the 

photos with the couple and their families together. Immediately after we'll spend time taking fun 

and memorable photos with the couple and their wedding party. Then, on to the party! 

- My wedding ceremony will be outdoor. 

I have photographed many weddings in various outdoor locations, and I am very comfortable 

with lighting situations at outdoor sites. 

- My wedding ceremony will be in a church with very strict lighting rules. 

I have also photographed numerous weddings inside very dimly lit churches and I am very 

familiar with the standard rule of not using flash inside churches. All my cameras and lens are 

high-end professional equipments and allow for very bright photos even in the dimly venues. 

- Do I get my own copies of my wedding photos on DVD? 

Definitely. While most other photographers will charge you extra (considered one of their many 

hidden costs) to own your wedding photos on DVD, all my packages include delivering all your 

wedding photos on DVD. I feel that a wedding package booked and paid should give you 

rights to your own wedding photos. You will have full rights to these photos and can print them 

anywhere with no restriction or watermark. 

- What is your turn around time for delivering my wedding photos? 

Depending on the season, I normally will have your entire wedding photos completed between 

3-4 weeks. Please understand that I put in my full effort to edit all wedding photos for all my 

couples. During busier seasons with more weddings, I do still want to spend an equal amount of 

editing time for every wedding in order to deliver a high quality product. 

- Do you edit just some photos? 

I will edit every single photo that you'll receive, and this includes every photo during the 

preparation all the way to the last photo of the day. My editing process includes but is not 

limited to color correction, cropping, special effect such as black/white, sepia, air-brushing, etc. 

- Do you take black/white photos? 

Yes, that's actually my favorite type of photos. It's classic and timeless. I understand though that 

some couples prefer more photos in color while others like the more classic black/white look and 

feel. I always ask my couples their preference for black/white photos before their wedding day. 





- Do I get to select my own photos for my wedding album? 

Of course! Once all your wedding photos are ready, you will be presented with an online proof 

from which you will be able to select photos for your wedding album. You can do that at the 

comfort of your own home or at my location. I will always be available to assist you in this 

selection process to choose the best photos that will tell a story of your wedding day. In my 

experience, most photographers do not allow you to select your own photos for your album as 

they feel doing so will slow down their workflow. I, on the other hand, feel that your wedding 

album is one of the most cherished items resulting from your wedding day, and that you should 

have full privilege to determine which photos will be part of the album. 

- How long will my wedding photos be online for my families and friends to view? 

Indefinitely. 

- Will you have a web site to allow my families and friends to order their own copies of my 

wedding photos? If so, how long will this site be available? 

You will be provided with a link that you can forward to your families and friends. From there, 

they can order their own copies without having to trouble you. This site will be up indefinitely. 

- How far in advance do your clients usually book your service? 

Most of my couples book my service between 9-12 months before their wedding event. There 

are times of course booking is done just months or weeks before. Please don't hesitate to 

contact me to inquire my availability. 

- How do I book your service? 

It's best if we first have a face-to-face consultation to find if I have the style of photography 

you're looking for. Of course, all consultations are complimentary. If you do decide to go forward 

and book my service, a $300 retainer is required, regardless of package booked, to confirm my 

service for your wedding event. 

- Do you have a refund policy of the retainer and if yes, how does it work? 

Yes, I do have a refund policy of your retainer. You can place your retainer to officially reserve 

my photography service and still have the peace of mind to be able to receive your retainer 

back in full within two weeks of booking should you change your mind for any reason. 

- Do you have a traveling fee? 

I cover all locations in Northern California with no travel fee, which is normally another hidden 

cost for most other photographers. 

- Do you send someone else to photograph my wedding? 

Absolutely not! I will personally be there to capture everything. Only in the most extreme 

circumstance such as being run over by a bus will I send a very capable backup in my place. 

Rests assure that in my years of photographing weddings, I have never missed an event that I've 

booked. Perfect record to date!
