Nestled in a picturesque and secure island oasis in the heart of<br />
London’s famous East End is 3 <strong>Mills</strong> <strong>Studios</strong>, London’s largest studio.<br />
Only 15 minutes from central London, 3 <strong>Mills</strong> <strong>Studios</strong> provides<br />
a wide variety of stages, extensive resources, first-class service<br />
and dedication to helping each client fulfil their creative vision.<br />
Within a short space of time, this unique studio has been discovered<br />
by some of the most successful independent filmmakers including<br />
Wes Anderson, Danny Boyle, Tim Burton, David Cronenberg,<br />
Mike Leigh, Ken Loach and Michael Winterbottom. We also attract<br />
a wide range of clients from television, theatre, music and advertising.<br />
Whatever your requirement might be – a six-month shoot or a one-day<br />
rehearsal – we are flexible and can accommodate every aspect of your<br />
production on site. We take client liaison seriously and our attentive<br />
and experienced production support team will be on hand to assist<br />
you throughout your time here.<br />

Our 14 stages, ranging from 3,200 to 13,500 sq. ft.<br />
offer an extensive selection for clients working on<br />
a variety of projects – from small independents to major<br />
international productions; feature films to television<br />
programmes; music videos to theatrical productions;<br />
events to photo shoots and commercials.<br />
Features made at our secure and secluded site<br />
include 28 Days Later, Brick Lane, Eastern Promises,<br />
Fantastic Mr Fox, Franklyn, How To Lose Friends and<br />
Alienate People, It’s A Free World, Sunshine and<br />
Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride.<br />
Successful TV programmes such as Hell’s Kitchen 3,<br />
The Slammer and The Mighty Boosh have all taken<br />
advantage of our facilities, whilst Amy Winehouse,<br />
The Feeling, KT Tunstall, Super Furry Animals and<br />
Westlife have all made music videos here.<br />
Other credits include photo shoots by Alison Jackson,<br />
Mert and Marcus with Victoria Beckham, Madonna for<br />
H&M and advertisements for Rimmel, Mazda MX5,<br />

3 <strong>Mills</strong> <strong>Studios</strong> provides myriad location shooting opportunities –<br />
both on and off site.<br />
The <strong>Studios</strong>’ exteriors and interiors have doubled as police<br />
stations, hospitals, nightclubs, airport lounges and urban London,<br />
New York and Victorian streetscapes. We also offer a unique<br />
prison cell and exterior prison set.<br />
Additional cost-effective and convincing on-site locations include<br />
period buildings, cobbled streets, car parks, roads and walkways<br />
all within the studios’ secure and controlled environment.<br />
The whole of metropolitan London is on our doorstep, with its<br />
diverse range of location opportunities including the East End,<br />
Canary Wharf, City, Docklands, Greenwich and Soho, as well<br />
as direct transport links to the UK’s beautiful countryside.<br />

to central London with excellent transport<br />
links via the motorway, international<br />
airports, underground and railway.<br />
By road from Central London<br />
From the City take the A11 over the Bow<br />
flyover to the second set of traffic lights.<br />
Turn right into Rick Roberts Way, go round<br />
the roundabout and left back onto the A11<br />
again heading westbound. Turn left into<br />
Sugar House Lane and follow the road to<br />
the security lodge.<br />
By road from the Blackwall Tunnel<br />
Follow the A102 (becomes A12). Leave<br />
at the Bow Interchange Junction with the<br />
A11. At the roundabout take the third exit<br />
signposted Stratford. Continue and turn<br />
right into Rick Roberts Way, round the<br />
roundabout and left back onto the A11<br />
again heading westbound. Turn left into<br />
Sugar House Lane and follow the road to<br />
the security lodge.<br />
By Underground<br />
The nearest tube station is Bromleyby-Bow.<br />
Take the pedestrian subway<br />
underneath the main road (A12). At the top<br />
of the stairs, turn right and walk down the<br />
hill. Turn right at Tesco into Three Mill Lane<br />
and cross the bridge to the security lodge.<br />
By Bus<br />
Bus services S2, 25 and 108 stop outside<br />
Tesco and Bromley-by-Bow tube station.<br />
By Air<br />
The nearest airport is London City Airport.<br />
We are also accessible from Heathrow,<br />

The nearest mainline station is Stratford.<br />
From the station catch buses S2, 25 and<br />
