ALL PONY CLUB AND ADULT ENTRIES TO COME FROM INDIVIDUALS<br />

ENTRIES WILL BE LIMITED TO 200 COMPETITORS WITH PRIORITY GIVEN TO RIDERS IN<br />
PONY CLUB CLASSES<br />
STRICTLY NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS OR ADJOINING AIRPORT<br />
PROPERTY, RIDERS WITH DOGS PRESENT WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE<br />
PROVISIONAL TIMETABLE<br />
Dressage: Saturday commencing 8.30 am (approx)<br />
Cross Country: Sunday – TBA<br />
Showjumping: TBA<br />
All Grade 1, 2 & 3 showjumping will be conducted on Sunday after completion <strong>of</strong> their cross country<br />
phase.<br />
Inspection <strong>of</strong> Course: Saturday afternoon. Time to be confirmed and announced on the day.<br />
EVENT INFORMATION – Competitors<br />
A member is a rider under the age <strong>of</strong> 17 years.<br />
An associate is a rider <strong>of</strong> 17 years and under 21 years.<br />
A senior is a rider <strong>of</strong> 21 years and under 26 years.<br />
An adult is a rider 17 years and over with a current adult card or current <strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong> card.<br />
Age <strong>of</strong> riders determined as the age on the day <strong>of</strong> the commencement <strong>of</strong> competition.<br />
QUALIFICATIONS<br />
To qualify for a State Championship ODE, a combination must obtain four (4) attendance qualifications<br />
within the preceding 12 months as for any other event. A combination must also obtain a completion<br />
at the relevant height, in a <strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong> competition, or for Grade One only, completion in a <strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong> or<br />
EA equivalent competition, within the preceding 18 months. * See page 67, Article 1.7.1.<br />
A “completion” means not eliminated from competition. No combination will be allowed to ride non-<br />
competitively (HC) in <strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong> State Championship classes (ie. grades 1,2 & 3).<br />
TIME TABLE & DRAW<br />
The draw will be posted on the <strong>PCASA</strong> web site www.ponyclub.asn.au and www.myaushorse.com.au<br />
one week prior to the event. A full program will be available to competitors on the weekend.<br />
SECRETARY’S OFFICE<br />
The Secretary’s <strong>of</strong>fice will be open between 6pm and 8pm on Friday 12 th April and from 7am<br />
Saturday 13 th April.<br />
CARDS<br />
Copies <strong>of</strong> cards are required to be sent prior to the event. Please email to:<br />
mountgambierhorsetrials@hotmail.com or post with entry.<br />
Please bring your <strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong> cards with you when collecting body numbers.<br />
Cards will be checked for grades, qualifications and financial status. These cards MUST be presented<br />
to the Secretary’s <strong>of</strong>fice prior to the commencement <strong>of</strong> the competition and will be held for the duration<br />
<strong>of</strong> the competition.<br />
NOTE: Everyone must have a current Performance Card and must be a financial member <strong>of</strong> either a<br />
<strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong> or <strong>PCASA</strong>. Any rider who does not present a current Attendance/Performance Card<br />
will not be permitted to ride.<br />
EXEMPTION CARDS: To be carried by those holding C Certificate over 17yrs and must be<br />
produced on demand by the gear checkers if using approved 2012, EA bits. (New rule as <strong>of</strong> <strong>PCASA</strong>-<br />
2012 AGM)<br />
BODY NUMBER HOLDERS/MEDICAL ARM BANDS<br />
Riders are required to provide their own body number holder and medical armband
REFUNDS<br />
Refunds after closing date will only be considered by sighting doctor or veterinary certificate within<br />
2 weeks.<br />
CATERING<br />
Full catering available on both days. Saturday night dinner available at $15 per head and $10 per<br />
head for child under 12 (not including drinks). Please pre-book and pay on entry form.<br />
CAMPING/YARDS<br />
Onsite camping available at $10 per family for the<br />
weekend.<br />
Yards available at $15 for the weekend; allocated on a first in basis.<br />
No portable yards allowed.<br />

VETERINARY<br />
On property during the jumping phases. On call at other times. Individuals will be responsible for<br />
payment <strong>of</strong> any veterinary services required during the event.<br />
RESULTS<br />
Results will be published on the <strong>PCASA</strong> web site and www.myaushorse.com.au at the<br />
completion <strong>of</strong> the event.<br />
RULES<br />
This Event will be run under <strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong> rules. Rules can be obtained from the <strong>PCASA</strong> web site.<br />
PLEASE NOTE: IT IS THE COMPETITORS RESPONSIBLITY TO BE AWARE OF THE<br />
RULES. ALL COMPETITORS ARE REQUIRED TO BE GEAR CHECKED PRIOR TO EACH<br />
PHASE OF THE COMPETITION.<br />

Protests must be in accordance with <strong>PCASA</strong> rules for the conduct <strong>of</strong> One Day Events.<br />

Invitation to Compete<br />
The <strong>South</strong> East Zone <strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong> extends an invitation to all eligible <strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong> Grade 1, 2 & 3<br />
members and associates/seniors to compete in the <strong>2013</strong> <strong>PCASA</strong> State Championship ODE.<br />
<strong>Pony</strong> <strong>Club</strong> Zone Teams Competition, and eligible members to compete in the State Competition<br />
ODE Grades 4 & 5 and S.A. <strong>Club</strong> Teams State Competition.<br />
All phases are held at the same venue. Cross country course will be closed from 15 th March <strong>2013</strong>.<br />
