Dr. Robert Koogler is joining the<br />

<strong>St</strong>. Margaret’s Health family of doctors.<br />

<strong>St</strong>. Margaret’s is pleased to welcome Robert Koogler, MD,<br />

MPH, as the Medical Director of <strong>St</strong>. Margaret’s Occupational<br />

Health Center. The Center provides a comprehensive program<br />

of cost-effective, well-managed, quality health care services<br />

to area businessess and industries. Dr. Koogler will work<br />

with employers to provide physical examinations, injury<br />

prevention programs, health screenings, on-site work-place<br />

assessments and wellness programs.<br />

Dr. Koogler has combined his interest in occupational medicine<br />

with service to his country. Serving in the United <strong>St</strong>ates<br />

Air Force for 20 years, his duties included being Chief<br />

Occupational Medicine Flight Commander at Kirkland Air<br />

Force Base in New Mexico. After leaving the Air Force,<br />

Dr. Koogler continued to serve as a consultant to the<br />

USAF, traveling to bases to evaluate occupational health<br />

issues and to instruct occupational medicine residents.<br />

Along with his wife, Cindy, who is also completing her<br />

Air Force career, and their two children Brett and Alicia,<br />

Dr. Koogler looks forward to living and serving in the<br />

Illinois Valley.<br />

Dr. Koogler will begin practice in May 2009 at<br />

<strong>St</strong>. Margaret’s Occupational Health Center.<br />
