General Information<br />
The <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Sioux</strong> <strong>Falls</strong> is a Christian Liberal Arts <strong>University</strong> associated with the American Baptist Churches, U.S.A. but USF<br />
welcomes students <strong>of</strong> every denomination and faith. The <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Sioux</strong> <strong>Falls</strong> is fully accredited by the Commission on<br />
Institutions <strong>of</strong> Higher Education <strong>of</strong> the North Central Association <strong>of</strong> Colleges and Schools, 159 N. Dearborn St., Chicago, IL 60601.<br />
The undergraduate and graduate Teacher Education programs <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong> are accredited by the National Council for<br />
Accreditation <strong>of</strong> Teacher Education (NCATE). All undergraduate and graduate Teacher Education programs are approved by the<br />
South Dakota Division <strong>of</strong> Education. All undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the Vucurevich School <strong>of</strong> Business are<br />
accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education.<br />
How to Register<br />
Current USF students should register for summer when they register for fall classes. Persons not currently enrolled at USF must<br />
register in the Registrar’s Office until the first day <strong>of</strong> the session. If you have not taken a class at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Sioux</strong> <strong>Falls</strong>, you<br />
will need to register in person and provide <strong>of</strong>ficial photo identification. Undergraduate tuition for regular coursework is $280 per<br />
semester hour. All non-accepted students will be required to pay a $100 deposit at the time <strong>of</strong> registration (This deposit is<br />
refundable if course is <strong>of</strong>ficially dropped within 24 hours <strong>of</strong> start date or if a class is cancelled). The remaining balance will be due<br />
prior to the first day <strong>of</strong> class. Please contact the Registrar’s Office if you have any questions.<br />
Financial Aid<br />
Students who have been accepted for admission to the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Sioux</strong> <strong>Falls</strong> and are seeking a degree may apply for summer<br />
financial aid. Students must fill out an application for summer school financial aid. Federal financial aid is available to students who<br />
complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and are taking at least six semester hours for the <strong>Summer</strong> Session.<br />
For an application for summer school financial aid, help with the FAFSA, or further financial aid questions, please contact the USF<br />
Financial Aid Office at (605) 331-6623 or finaid@usiouxfalls.edu. Payment in full is due prior to the start <strong>of</strong> classes. To make a<br />
payment by credit card over the phone or for information regarding a FACTS Payment Plan, please contact the Student Accounts<br />
Office at 605-331-6640.<br />
*Reminder: Students cannot carry their balance from summer into fall.<br />

Refund Policy<br />
Students receiving Federal Title IV financial aid will have their refunds calculated and any refunds applied to the aid program from<br />
which the student received the funding based on the calculation <strong>of</strong> the Federal Return <strong>of</strong> Title IV Funds Policy. For full information<br />
