As a leading Central Counterparty in Europe, SIX
x-clear helps to reduce risks. SIX Group‘s CCP is the
innovative market leader in Europe with a clearing and
risk management platform in real-time which gives clients
the benefit of CCP clearing and netting as well as
settlement through a single interface. Further levels of
efficiency are apparent in the very high rate of straight
through processing between SIX x-clear and SIX SIS,
although it is ultimately the client‘s right to choose
where to settle its securities. For years now, SIX
x-clear and SIX SIS have been settling Swiss blue chip
trades at a rate of 99.95%; this serves as a benchmark.
SIX SIS and SIX x-clear‘s unique SECOM system has
a modular structure and is geared for open platforms
so that clients can benefit from maximum possible
flexibility.
