The Public Health and Safety Company
NSF International launched its voluntary Nonfood Compounds Registration Program in 1999 to reintroduce
the previous authorization program administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Products eligible for NSF Registration include all compounds used in and around food establishments
(nonfood compounds), such as disinfectants and lubricants, and those used for pre-processing of food
proprietary substances, such as fruits/vegetable washing agents. NSF Registration assures inspection
officials and end users that your formulation and labels meet appropriate food safety regulations.
WAXIE-Green Aerosols are registered with the NSF.
Sustainable Forestry Initiative
SFI labels are recognized globally and provide a visual cue to help customers source certified forest
products. In order to use any of the SFI labels, the company must be certified to Section 2 – SFI 2010-
2014 Standard, Section 3 – SFI Chain-of-Custody Certification or Section 4 – Rules for the Use of
SFI On-Product Labels, and have approval from the Office of Label Use and Licensing. WAXIE-Green
Aerosols are packaged in SFI certified corrugated cartons.
The Steel Recycling Institute (SRI) is an industry association that promotes and sustains the recycling
of all steel products. The SRI educates the solid waste industry, government, business and ultimately
the consumer about the benefits of steel’s infinite recycling cycle. WAXIE-Green Aerosols are
packaged in recyclable steel containers made of at least 50% post-consumer and post-industrial
recycled material.

WAXIE-Green Aerosols actually produce larger particles than those atomized by a standard trigger sprayer. This not only
minimizes particulate inhalation concerns, it also directs the product to economically reach the target with minimal waste.
