Philips HID-DynaVision DALI Xtreme

The Philips DynaVision Xtreme gear sets new global standards for street lighting with unrivaled
reliability and energy efficiency. With a broad range of flexible dimming options (DALI, dynadimmer,
LineSwitch), DynaVision DALI Xtreme drivers can lower lighting at appropriate times and reduce
energy consumption and light pollution. Originally introduced as part of the breakthrough
CosmoPolis system, the DynaVision DALI Xtreme range is expanding to offer the same outstanding
performance for SON and CDO systems.
Total, fully flexible control
The new gear range includes a universal DALI interface,
giving end users precise control over lighting levels at all
times.This interface enables a range of dimming protocols
and creates a safe lighting environment for all situations.
DALI also enables the use of a network-based solution,
such as Starsense, with a full range of remote monitoring,
control and diagnostics options.
Alternatively, end users can choose a different dimming
protocol. The LineSwitch function, with a pilot line
connected directly to the drivers, provides flexible
dimming to a preset level. By removing the need for an
external SDU (switching device unit), this offers a very
cost-effective yet flexible centrally controlled solution.
User can receive the full benefits of dimming without
waiting for the installation of a full telemanagement
system. The integrated Dynadimmer functionality allows
the user to to choose a customized 5-level dimming
sequence and realize immediate energy savings.
Longer life, greater reliability
DynaVision DALI Xtreme comes with an “Xtreme”
outdoor specification for long life and reliable operation.
The product is protected against surges on the mains
lines and lightning strikes of up to 5 kA/10 kV, while the
identical form-factor for all products ensures an easy fit
into any new or existing luminaire or pole.
