Short-term Disciple Bible Study
"Invitation to New Testament"
Rev. Amy McCullough will be leading a 4-week
DIsciple Bible Study class entitled "Invitation to the
New Testament." The class will explore the writings of
the New Testament using the witness of Jesus as the
starting point. The survey of the testament looks at how
the early church was shaped by the story of Jesus and
how the church learned how to develop as disciples and
create communities of faith.
The class includes
video reflections by leading
New Testament scholars and
an emphasis on how we can
be renewed personally and
communally by the story of Jesus.
The class will be offered at two different times
during the week: Mondays at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesdays at
12 noon beginning the week of January 7. (The groups
will decide together how to handle the Martin Luther
King holiday.)

through the church office. All participants need a
workbook, so advance signup would be helpful.

as we celebrate the Christmas Season anew.
With song and candlelight we will share in
thoughtful meditation on what this season truly
means. Come to hear the message of Christmas
in a new way.

The Youth of Grace thank you for your support
of our first mission fundraiser for 2012-2013. As of
result of your generous giving, ALL of the children at
St. Edwin's Children's Home for Orphans in Kimende,
Kenya will be receiving new shoes for school this
Christmas.
To date we have raised $1,168.00 and donations
are still coming in. Thanks again from our Youth!
Our next project will be "Hoodies for the
Homeless" so watch for details later in January and
February.
