Sheena Chatterjee<br />

Sheena Chatterjee „11 is a<br />

third year varsity member of<br />

the Girl‟s Swim team, swimming<br />

butterfly, backstroke<br />

and relays. During her freshman<br />

year, Sheena was named<br />

Second Team All Conference<br />

for her top-10 finish in the<br />

100 butterfly at the Skyland<br />

Conference meet. She was<br />

also the top point scorer for<br />

the <strong>North</strong> team and named<br />

Rookie of the Year. Last year,<br />

Girls Tennis Coach Maria<br />

Covino was named Star-<br />

Ledger West Jersey Coach of<br />

the Year. Her team was<br />

ranked number one in the<br />

West Jersey region.<br />

Kelly Loughney „10 was<br />

named to the Courier News<br />

First Team for Girls Volleyball.<br />

Matt McDonald „10 was<br />

named Star-Ledger West Jersey<br />

Runner of the Year. Matt<br />

was also named to the First<br />

Team All Group 4 and Second<br />

Team All State.<br />

Zak Haapoja „10 was named<br />

First Team All State and<br />

Evan Reed „10 was named<br />

Third Team All State by the<br />

New Jersey Soccer Coaches<br />

Association.<br />

Hockey team, which ranked<br />

Inclement Weather<br />

At times, athletic events will<br />

go on as scheduled even<br />

though school may have been<br />

closed that day for inclement<br />

Sheena was a member of the<br />

Second Team All Conference<br />

medley relay that placed 6 th<br />

overall at the Skyland Conference<br />

meet. Currently Sheena<br />

leads the team as the top<br />

point scorer.<br />

Victor Razuk<br />

Victor Razuk „10 is a senior<br />

captain of the Boy's Swim<br />

team and is a fourth year varsity<br />

letter winner. His sophomore<br />

year, Victor was second<br />

tenth in the Group IV rankings<br />

during the fall season.<br />

They were ranked sixth in the<br />

West Jersey rankings.<br />

<strong>North</strong> <strong>Hunterdon</strong>‟s Head<br />

Football Coach John Mattes<br />

earned <strong>Hunterdon</strong> Country<br />

Democrat Coach of the Year<br />

honors. The team ranked<br />

number ten in the Courier-<br />

News All Area Football Final<br />

Top Ten.<br />

were honored by the Express-<br />

Times: Kevin Haplea „10 was<br />

named All Area First Team<br />

Offense. Korey Salvo „11 was<br />

named All Area Second Team<br />

Offense. Shane Wilson „10<br />

was named All Area Second<br />

Team Defense. Richard Dilley<br />

„10 was named All Area Third<br />

Team Offense. Dustin<br />

Schneider „11 was named All<br />

Area Honorable Mention<br />

earned 236 points for the<br />

Team All State. Schneider<br />

and Matthew Berry ‟11 were<br />

named to the All West Jersey<br />

Defense Second Team. All<br />

West Jersey Third Team Defense<br />

honors went to Wilson.<br />

Club<br />

The Booster Club has a<br />

record-breaking number<br />

of umbrella clubs this<br />

winter. Umbrella clubs<br />

are team-specific clubs<br />

working with the<br />

Booster Club to earn<br />

money for their specific<br />

teams: Boys Soccer,<br />

Boys Swimming, Boys<br />

Basketball, Boys Lacrosse,<br />

Football, Boys<br />

Track, Girls Fencing,<br />

Girls Lacrosse, Cheerleading,<br />

Field Hockey,<br />

and Girls Basketball.<br />

The Snack Bar will be<br />

open and staffed by parent<br />

volunteers during<br />

almost all Girls Basketball,<br />

Boys Basketball,<br />

Wrestling and select<br />

Fencing matches. <strong>North</strong><br />

<strong>Hunterdon</strong> T-shirts and<br />

sweatshirts are available<br />

next to the Snack Bar<br />

during athletic events.<br />
