<strong>Restoran</strong> <strong>Sfäär</strong><br />

Tagumine söögiruum kujundati veidi vabamas ja boheemlaslikumas<br />

võtmes, inspireerituna restorani köögist,<br />

kuhu uudishimulikud saavad läbi pikliku horisontaalse<br />

akna piiluda. Siin domineerivad samuti valgeks värvitud<br />

paekiviseinad, mida täiendavad köögist laenatud valged<br />

kahhelplaadid. Pikkade laudade kohal ripuvad Alvar Aalto<br />

valgustid.<br />

Ehkki nii mitmegi mööblitüki ja valgusti puhul on tegu<br />

emblemaatilise disainiklassikuga, ei tungi ükski ese interjööris<br />

esile ega "lõhu" terviklikult kujundatud keskkonda.<br />

Ükski detail pole juhuslik, ka diivanikatte tekstiil ja toon<br />

on sama, mida Arne Jacobseni tugitoolidel on kasutatud<br />

<strong>aasta</strong>kümneid. Veinipudelite, raamatute ja nipsasjade<br />

tarbeks ehitati kõrgetesse ukseniššidesse ja poe ning<br />

restorani vahele valged ruudukujulised õhulised riiulid.<br />

The rear dining hall was designed in a slightly more unrestrained<br />

and Bohemian style, inspired by the restaurant<br />

kitchen, where the curious can cast glances through a<br />

long horizontal window. Here, too, white-painted limestone<br />

walls are predominant, complemented by white<br />

tiles borrowed from the kitchen. Alvar Aalto lights are<br />

suspended over the long tables.<br />

Although a number of pieces of furniture and lights are<br />

emblematic design classics, no individual item takes too<br />

much precedence in the <strong>interior</strong> and does not "wreck"<br />

the integrally designed environment. No single detail is<br />

random: even the divan cover textile and tone are the<br />

same that have been used for decades on the Arne Jacobsen<br />

armchairs. White, square, airy shelves were erected<br />

for wine bottles, books and knick-knacks in the high door<br />

niches and between the shop and restaurant.
