Housing � nance � gures for the
month of August have re� ected a
� at market with a lull in investment
housing � nance activity, the latest o� cial
� g u r e s s h o w.
According to the Australian Bureau of
Statistics, the number of commitments for
established housing increased 1.4 per cent in
August, in seasonally adjusted terms.
Meanwhile, the value of investment
housing commitments fell by 3.9 per cent in
August 2010, seasonally adjusted.
