IF YOU ARE A MODERATOR<br />
1. Please locate your session room in due time and be there at least 15 minutes prior to the start <strong>of</strong><br />
the Session.<br />
2. Moderators are requested to announce any potential conflicts <strong>of</strong> interests regarding the current<br />
presentations in order to allow the audience to take this into account when assessing the objectivity<br />
<strong>of</strong> the presentation.<br />
3. We remind you that speakers should strictly observe timing and that discussants should not speak<br />
without permission and must first clearly state their names, institutions and countries <strong>of</strong> origin.<br />
4. For organisational reasons only, we kindly ask you to disclose your mobile phone number when<br />
collecting your congress documents so that we can reach you in case anything unexpected occurs.<br />
The mobile phone number will be kept strictly confidential and will be disregarded at the end <strong>of</strong> the<br />
congress.<br />

3. Please note that the time slot for an instructional course is strictly limited to 1 hour - no exceptions!<br />
4. For organisational reasons only, we kindly ask you to disclose your mobile phone number when<br />

5. Instructors are encouraged to prepare handouts. If requested, multiple copies can be made at the<br />
congress if the handout template is delivered to the Speakers’ Preview Room 1 day prior to the Session.<br />
Max. volume <strong>of</strong> handouts: 5 pages<br />
6. In case you are working with anatomic specimen, the specimen are provided by the organizers (non<br />
fixated, cleaned heads for rhino- and paranasal sinussurgery, surgery <strong>of</strong> the ear and skull base).<br />
Heads are mounted in a head holder which is placed in a plastic vessel. Surgical gloves and tissue<br />
paper are on the desk.<br />
Please be aware that you are responsible for organising all the medical equipment<br />
(i.e. surgical instruments, endoscopes, microscopes) you require for the instructional course.<br />
basis equipment provided includes beamer, laptop, screen and microphones.<br />
7. You should deliver and view/check the PowerPoint presentation at the Speakers’ Preview Room<br />
(Zone 1) at least 3 hours prior to the start <strong>of</strong> the respective Session.<br />
For Sessions starting at 07:00, the PowerPoint presentation should be delivered the previous day,<br />
before 17:30 in order to avoid any delay.<br />
Format: Miscros<strong>of</strong>t PowerPoint, Windows Version XP<br />
Electronic Support: CD-ROM or USB only<br />
Videos should be included in your PowerPoint Presentation or at least be in a format that is<br />
supported by Windows Media Player.<br />
You are asked to use the laptop provided in the session room. In case you prefer to present with your<br />
own laptop make sure that possible other presentations from additional instructors shall run on your<br />
laptop also.<br />
