An output selector switch on the 4030 lets you choose either forceful or soft arc characteristics. Exceptional CV dynamic response gives superior low-end characteristics, arc starting and recovery. The FABSTAR ® 4030 is rated 400 Amps at 60% Duty Cycle and 300 amps at 100% Duty Cycle. FABSTAR provides excellent arc performance with solid wire in short circuit, globular and spray transfers, and with flux or metal cored wires in globular and spray transfer modes. LM-300 is compact and lightweight with an easy to carry handle. The unit also features arc control adjustment, excellent for all types of STICK electrodes, particularly the Lincoln 5P ® and Lift Start TIG for high quality TIG starting with no high frequency.
