Öko-Tex is and international test insti- tute, world leading for textiles. Öko-Tex ensures that the certified textiles do not contain any chemicals or dyes hazardous to people’s skin and health. Some exam- ples of what is tested for are pH-value, formaldehyde, heavy metals, pesticides, phthalates and biocides. Öko-Tex Stand- ard 100 poses demands on the products so that the consumer can feel safe. Lycra und Tactel are registered trademarks of DuPont Tactel®: Tactel® is a polyamide fibre with a special designed cross section. The shape of this fiber gives it special features like softness to the skin and lightweight. It is also breathable and has excellent wicking properties; this gives you a dryer feel- ing and reduces skin irritation. Contents: Polyamide Darlexx®: Darlexx® is a breathable material with su- perior elasticity, recovery and comfort. The combination of fleece liner and breathable membrane will keep you warmer when the environment is cold and cooler when the environment is hot. Contents: Polyamide, Lycra®, polyure- thane membrane Neoprene: Neoprene is a warming and elastic material, shock absorbing and with high densi- ty. It is very durable and can be washed an infinite number of times without loo- sing its elasticity. Contents: Chloroprene, polyamide jersey. Lycra®: Elastane is a synthetic fibre known for its exceptional elasticity (stretchability). Lycra® stretch fibres provide great fit and comfort to fabric. Contents: Elastane Viscose: A cellulose-based fiber that is lightweight and soft. Hygienic thanks to its high suc- tion capability. Excellent fit due to the rub- ber material. Its strengths: Shape-retai- ning and elastic.
