A relative limitation of the movement is achieved through correction of lordosis of the lumbar spine. Therapy stage 2: In this stage of therapy the Lumbo TriStep is adapted to the improved muscle coordination. By removing the bridging element the physiological lordosis will be nearly restored. In addition the patient’s freedom of movement is increased, which helps to stimulate natural muscle function. Therapy stage 3: With increasing muscle activity the support element is completely removed. The Lumbo TriStep compresses and supports the muscles in the lumbar area. In this phase of therapy, the pad can be used optionally. The massaging effect of the pad improves blood circulation and stimulates muscle function.
