Registration Information<br />
When should I register?<br />
• Now! (As soon as you can.) Many classes<br />
fill quickly and instructors need to order<br />
supplies. Help ensure that your class has<br />
enough students by registering at least<br />
seven days ahead of the start date.<br />
• Please include two phone numbers so we<br />
can reach you with any class changes.<br />
Where are classes held?<br />
• See our Site Directory on page 63.<br />
Why pay by credit card?<br />
• Register online and know immediately if<br />
you are in the class.<br />
• Transfers are easy, especially when<br />
changing levels in swim or gymnastics.<br />
• Credit card refunds are put through<br />
within a day or two. Refund checks are<br />
mailed every two weeks.<br />
Can I use UCare benefits?<br />
• UCare Minnesota is accepted. Include<br />
your member 11-digit ID number<br />
when registering. You may take a $15<br />
discount per class. (Seniors may use<br />
this in addition to the 20% senior discount;<br />
however, "UCare for Seniors" is<br />
now limited to one class/event per year.)<br />
Is there a Senior Discount?<br />
• Yes, if you are 60 years or older you<br />
may take 20% off most Adult Enrichment<br />
classes. You may register online<br />
using promo code Senior20; or mail, fax,<br />
or drop off your registration. (Discounts<br />
are good on MOST Adult Enrichment<br />
classes. No discounts on Trips and<br />
Tours, 55 Alive or Online Learning.)<br />
Is there financial assistance?<br />
• Yes, for youth classes for families on free<br />
or reduced lunch. There is a limit of $250<br />
per year. For more information, call 651-<br />
458-6600.<br />
• For adult classes - based on situation, call<br />
651-458-6605 to discuss.<br />

Will I receive a confirmation?<br />
• Yes, once we receive payment, a confirmation<br />
will be emailed or mailed verifying<br />
your classes. If you are not notified<br />
within seven days, call 651-458-6624.<br />
• If registering online, you may print a receipt<br />
immediately. Please have your spam<br />
blocker turned off for www.cecool.com.<br />
Can I register my child for<br />
Adult Enrichment classes?<br />
• Yes, if he or she is 15 years or older.<br />
Exceptions may be made for younger<br />
students. Call 651-458-6605 to inquire.<br />
Are there accommodations for<br />
people with disabilities?<br />
• Your participation is our goal. Please call<br />
651-458-6605 to discuss your situation.<br />
What happens if Community<br />
Education cancels the class?<br />
• All fees are refunded if a course is cancelled<br />
due to insufficient enrollment or<br />
filled before we receive your registration.<br />
Classes are cancelled one week prior to<br />
start date if there is insufficient enrollment.<br />

Will classes be held if the<br />
weather is questionable?<br />
• Check our website at www.cecool.com,<br />
watch Channel 15 or listen to WCCO<br />
AM 830 Radio. When District 833<br />
classes are cancelled due to weather, a<br />
decision will be made by 3 p.m. regarding<br />
evening classes.<br />
What if I live outside<br />
District 833? Can I register<br />
for Community Ed. classes?<br />
• Adult Enrichment classes are open to all;<br />
for other programs, please check with<br />
program coordinators (See page 61).<br />
What if I want a refund?<br />
Call 651-458-6607 as soon as possible.<br />
• If more than seven days before class:<br />
• Receive a refund minus a $5 fee.<br />
• OR select a different class in the<br />
same brochure.<br />
• OR send someone else to attend.<br />
• If less than seven days before class:<br />
• Receive a 50% refund.<br />
• On the day of class:<br />
• No refunds or credits are given as we<br />
must cover instructor & supply costs.<br />
• For Aquatics cancellations, see page 53.<br />
Note: Processing fee amounts for youth<br />
activities vary. See flyers in the website<br />
scrollbar at www.cecool.com.<br />
Can I Change a class?<br />
• If you make a mistake while registering<br />
online, call us. DO NOT re-register.<br />
Changes requested within 24 hours will<br />
not be charged a processing fee.<br />
• All changes or moves after 24 hours<br />
will result in at least a $5 processing fee.<br />
Changes/moves within a week of class<br />
are charged 50% of the class fee.<br />
What if I’m not satisfied with<br />
my Adult Enrichment class?<br />
• Our goal is to meet or exceed your<br />
expectations. If you have any concerns<br />
please email Gretchen Carlson at<br />
gcarlson@cecool.com or call 651-458-<br />
6605. In return you will receive a credit<br />
voucher to apply to a future adult class.<br />
I still have questions.<br />
May I speak with someone?<br />
• Yes. Call 651-458-6600 during office<br />
hours. We strive to make the registration<br />
process as user friendly as possible.<br />
Classes are open to adults 15 and up unless specified. Registration is easy! See page 2.
