FITUP MEASUREMENTS:
Height
Inseam
Deltoid to hip
Hip to ankle
Hip to knee
Knee to ankle
Deltoid to wrist
Width of palm
First is height, this is just for a general starting point, stand feet together, barefoot, with back straight.
Second is the inseam. For this measurement it might take two people. Stand with legs together, and a
broom handle, or something similar between your legs, and level with the ground. Measure from top of
the handle to the ground. This will help determine the safe standover dimension, as well as headtube
length.
Third is from the end of your collarbone at the shoulder to the top of your pelvis on the outside. This is
done with the arm relaxed, and hands by your side. This dimension coupled with number seven
determines toptube length.
Fourth is from the top of the pelvis to the center of the ball of your ankle on the outside. This
dimension, coupled with five and six will determine seattube length, and seattube angle.
Fifth is again from the pelvis, downward to the center of the kneecap. The ratio between this dimension
and number six is used for seattube angle info.
Sixth starts at the center of the kneecap, and goes downward to the center of the ball of your ankle.
This is the tibia/fibula length used in the seattube angle calc.
The seventh dimension is from the ball of the wrist to the end of the collarbone at the shoulder.
This, and the third dimension determine toptube length.
Finally is the width of palm. This determines optimum saddle height, and stem length.
